I’m no [tag]grammar[/tag] king, nor do I preach proper technique to the likes of Grammar Girl. However, browsing to [tag]Seagate[/tag]’s site when I was checking out new hard drives makes me head hurt.
Here’s what their marketing campaign says: “[tag]FreeAgent[/tag]: [tag]Your On[/tag]“.
Now, perhaps it’s some clever pun or wording, and the joke’s far over my head. I doubt it.
Seriously, can’t anybody get basic grammar anymore? You’re is not equal to your. I blame marketing and their desire for quick and impacting campaigns without really thinking things through.
