Raising the Bar really sucks

I hate Raising the Bar. I hated the pilot, but I thought it might redeem itself by the second episode. I was wrong.

First of all, its facts are wrong. The screenwriters need to be fired.

Secondly, I hate the characters. When they’re not being stereotypical they’re being over-dramatic:

1. idealistic public defender
2. his prosecutor girlfriend who’s too hot for him
3. token black guy
4. some other white guy
5. annoyingly biased female judge
6. gay guy who is also romantically involved with the judge

Thirdly, it’s dull. Try to come up with something new. Here are the cases they’ve done:

1. Black man accused of raping white woman. White police officer influenced her testimony.

2. Black student is the target of racism after having sex with a white girl.

3. Hispanic/non-white man is accused of murder.

I give up on this show. I hope they all quit acting and work minimum wage jobs.

I cant agree with you more. And the worst part is i work nights but i like waching er and las vegas during the day,and you cant go ten minutes without seeing a commercial for that garbage. If it was good you wouldnt have to run an ad for it every 5 minutes.

Sad they are just copying a judge character from The Simpsons, of all places.
