Another school shooting

800px-virginiatech-burrusshall-fromdrillfield.JPGThis morning, there was a school [tag]shooting[/tag] at [tag]Virginia Tech[/tag], leaving at least 31 dead. The identity of the shooter is unknown at this time, and there’s no confirmation that he was a student.

It’s truly a tragedy in our society of high technology that something like this still happens. Last year, a regular visitor to an online goth community shot students in [tag]Dawson College[/tag] (Quebec), while the famous [tag]Columbine[/tag] shootings claimed the lives of 13 children.

I’m not making any claims about the background of the shooters, or try to delve into their motivation for committing such acts before turning the gun on themselves. All I have to say is this: there’s obviously something wrong with such a desire and I hope we all reach out to others before they reach such a stage as their last resort.
