Photo albums not working
Hi readers,
You may have noticed that our photo albums and some photos in articles aren’t working. This is because our flickr plugin for WordPress isn’t perfect right now, and giving me foreach() errors in the php code. I’ll fix this problem when the plugin has a new version, and the author knows about this bug.

How did you fix the issue? I tried updating the 2 files and clearing the cache like the support site said, but now none of my pictures are showing up. Suggestions would be much appreciated!

Here’s how I fixed the issue on my blog:
1. I tried changing the permissions of my flickr-cache folder to 777. This didn’t work, but it’s worth a try. Then I tried deleting the whole flickr-cache directory after I deactivated the plugin.
2. I downloaded version 0.90 (unreleased) of the plugin and overwritten my previous files. Here’s the link: http://tantannoodles.com/code/backup/photo-album/sp_photoalbum-0.90-test.zip
3. I also uploaded the following patch file into the flickr directory: http://photo-album.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/silaspartners/flickr/lib.phpFlickr.php
4. Check to make sure the new flickr-cache is writable by the server.
5. I then activated the new plugin version, reset all my albums in the plugin’s settings, and everything’s working again (for now…)

Thanks. I followed all of your steps and it seemed to fix all the errors and missing photos. However, I’ve completely lost my sidebar widget now. It is no longer an available widget to drag and drop like in version .89. I hope the final version of .90 fixes all of the issues.
