I Heart Essays

Not really, but with most of my Spring Break gone, a common thing seems to be the time I have spent working on essay and other writing assignments. My latest one explores the rise and fall of the Charlottetown Accord of 1992. Here’s the summary:

A second attempt at a broader constitutional agreement led to the Charlottetown Accord of 1992. This time, the politicians knew that they would have to win approval from the voters, but the Accord was decisively rejected by Canadians. The traditional Canadian “unity” issue, harmonizing English and French, had taken on several new dimensions as Canada had become a much more pluralistic, complex society.
